The Corner Butcher Shop of Beverly, MA project is the result of a complete WordPress redesign. It is a responsive, mobile-first, modular design on a sleek content management system. Melinda wanted a vintage feel to the site, so I incorporated an old-time feel to the design, as well as bringing in the prominent use of the chalk board and “look and feel” to the overall vibe of the site. The goal was to recreate the vibrant experience in the shop, so upon visiting the site there is a hero panorama of the store. A quick scroll and you have all the necessary contact info, click-able phone and directions, as well as details about the store and blog.
The Corner Butcher Shop site also does an automatic job of pulling in all the great social media from their feeds into one hub for customers. Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest are all on display and built into the design. In terms of function, the home page, includes everything most visitors are looking for without having to click around to other pages (which do exist, and with additional info!) Other features include: embedded video, blog, contact form, and interactive custom map. Hidden features include: Yoast SEO, WireFrame security (to prevent hacking), Google Analytics, and MailChimp.
I host this account on my servers and manage the domain. It was designed on the WordPress system, and has an easy-to-use Administrative section for blogging and updates. This site is an example of my small business package, contact me today for one of your own!
Below is a screen capture of the homepage. If you’re in the Beverly area, stop by! Melinda and Frank are as nice as they get and their cuts and products are even better.
